Q. Do I have to make an appointment?
No. In fact, we don’t take appointments. We operate on a first come, first served basis. This helps you get in to see the doctor faster. You may simply walk in to our location near the Poplar-Yates intersection in East Memphis during our normal business hours and be seen by a physician without a long wait.
Q. How long is the wait time to see a doctor?
Our average wait time to see a doctor is less than 15 minutes.
Q. Do you take my insurance?
We take most insurance. If you would like to call us before coming so that we can check your insurance, get your insurance card ready so that you can give us the group and plan numbers when you call. Please call us at (901) 881-0331.
Q. How much will the visit cost of I have no insurance?
We discount all of our rates for patients without medical insurance. A basic office visit is $99; however, there can be additional costs depending on the complexity of the medical problem. For example, tests and x-rays are additional costs.
Q. Do I see a doctor or a nurse practitioner?
You always see a doctor at AFC Urgent Care, and for the same cost that you see nurse practitioners or physicians assistants at other walk-in clinics.
